It’s update time and today we have the Alpha Chi and Color Infusion kit tonight. This update is for one 3 color kit available on Bello, FeeT, Primo Fingering or Plucky Single. These will be pre-assembled kits. Each kit includes BOTH the Alpha Chi and the Color Infusion patterns (and the special mitt pattern on or before November 7th!). Alpha Chi requires 2 skeins and Color Infusion 3 skeins, so you can knit up either one with this kit.

Please remember, this blog updates is pre-order and will ship in accordance with our Plucky Policies.

Yarn from this update will ship approximately 21 business days after an update. So, please allow approximately 4-5 weeks for your order to ship/arrive after an update. Alpha Chi and Color Infusion

Every once in a while a design catches my eye, makes me stop & say, “Wow!”. This was the case with Meridith’s cowl designs, Alpha Chi & Color Infusion. Her use of clean lines and geometrics are a perfect match for Plucky colors. They were made for each other! The Greek Key in Alpha Chi stands out in an almost 3D manner against a neutral background. The zig-zag stripes of Color Infusion just beg to be transformed into a unique, personal palette of a knitters favorite Plucky colorways.

Hayley and I just love these cowls! They are reversible and cozy, and just the right size. They are the perfect fit to wear at the collar of your favorite coat or blazer. Or, you might wear one indoors as an accessory, layered for warmth with a turtleneck or maybe even another cowl.

Each cowl is knit in the round with a turning row, and their flip-sides feature a simple stripe. Here is a great introduction to fair isle knitting! These cowls are smaller projects with tremendous visual impact, perfect for trying your hand at color work. They will produce a versatile, wearable piece that is fun to knit and multi-functional! Yes, please! The Alpha Chi and the Color Infusion cowls are destined to become staples in any Plucky wardrobe this season.

The Alpha Chi and the Color Infusion Cowl patterns are both part of the 3-color exclusive kits. Knit the Alpha Chi with 2 colors and have an extra for a little something special (like the included Mitt pattern coming in early November) or knit the Color Infusion with all 3 colors! We’ve put together 19 different options for you to choose from to put that pop in your fall/winter accessory knitting (including one with 3 brand-new colorways!). Are you ready to pick your perfect color palette?

Ashburn

It seem ages ago, but remember how much I loved knitting Nangou? So imagine my unending delight when Melanie offered to work up another one of her clever designs in Plucky. It’s time for Ashburn!

Turn heads in Ashburn, an eye-catching triangular-esque shawl with asymmetrical flair. Ashburn uses garter and slipped stitches to create a subtle medley of texture. Then, an endless combination of color choices lets you be as demure or as bold as you like. Having trouble choosing? Melanie says make more than one—it knits up quick!
